Newsletter

2007 : 10

This is the last newsletter of the year.  I hope you have found it of some use.  If anyone wishes to say anything on this page please contact me.

The winners of the various trophies etc are shown on the 2007 winners page.

The overall winner (Victor Ludorum) will be announced at the agm.  Looks like one of three to me, but we won't have all the figures in until after the pumpkin weigh (this Sunday - bring you entries to the club from around 11am until 12am).

Talks with the BDAC, regarding the Best Site Competition, are still ongoing.  This will be discussed at the agm

There are still one or two slabs available at 50p each.  If you are interested, please see a committee member.

Bonfires are now permitted (until March 31st) but don't forget these are for the disposal of diseased material only.  If you do have one please ensure that the wind blows away from the houses.  In addition, bonfires must never be left unattended.

Upcoming events:

14th October 12a.m.: Pumpkin weigh.  Please bring your pumpkin to the club house.

14th, 21st, 28th October 12.30p.m. - 2.30 pm: Rent collection

16th October 8.00pm: AGM and Presentation Night including free buffet.  Please attend this important meeting.

That's all for now.  Anyone who wishes to contribute to the Newsletter or who has any comments about the website in general or wishes to enquire about items for sale, please email me
