MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 2006 AGM.
HELD ON 17TH OCTOBER 2006.
1. The Chairman, Mr H Williams, declared the meeting open at
7.58pm.and welcomed those attending.
20 plotholders attended together
with 9 spouses, partners and friends.
2. APOLOGIES.
5 apologies for non-attendance were received
3. PREVIOUS MINUTES.
The minutes of the AGM held on 18th
October 2005 were agreed.
4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MINUTES.

The Treasurer said it had been a good year financially with
both the Main and Repairs showing a profit.
The accounts were accepted unanimously
8. SHOW SECRETARY'S REPORT.

Jane Davies announced her retirement from the committee and as Show
Secretary
9. ELECTION OF THE COMMITTEE.
Ray Moran said he wished to retire from the committee.
Mike Hubball, Ken Newcomb and
Ted Wright were due for re election, all were
re-elected.
John Badger, John Davies and Jason Hodges were elected to the
committee.
10. FUTURE OF THE SHOW
George Fairgrieve elected as
Show Secretary. Julie Hall, Reg Kersley and Denise Parry to form a
Show Sub-Committee. Their brief
is to encourage more people to enter the Annual Show.
All categories and classes to
be reviewed and amended where appropriate.
11. PROPOSITIONS.
None.
12. A.O.B.
Reg Kersley said he would be
donating some dahlia corms - proceeds to go to the Plotholder's Account
13.Award presentation.
14. There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting
at 9.53 p.m.
